The Colombian has been underwhelming for Chelsea since his £27m move last season, with the Blues believing he is now surplus to requirements for the foreseeable future.
“It’s true, Cuadrado will arrive on loan and we want to give Max Allegri the best possible players to work with,” director general Marotta told Sport Mediaset.
“The opportunity to get Cuadrado presented itself and we took it. Now it’s up to Allegri, who is an excellent Coach.
"We expect to complete the deal tomorrow. Is Julian Draxler still a target? We'll see. It's difficult, but the market is open until August 31."
Pogba has been at the forefront of speculation this week, with Chelsea alleged to have agreed a £69m deal for the player.
Juventus are still keen on Oscar who the Blues could still use as a makeweight in their attempts to sign Pogba.
