The Ramos saga looks set to drag on all
summer long, and there is a new twist in
the ongoing speculation.
Despite persistent reports linking the
Spaniard with a move to Old Trafford, it's
claimed that the centre-back is set to be
offered a new contract by Los
Blancos president Florentino Perez.
It's said that Perez will arrange a meeting
and urge the club's vice-captain to put
pen-to-paper on a contract extension at
the Santiago Bernabeu.
One way or the other, Ramos certainly
looks set for a wage increase in the
coming weeks.
