Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is in the market for a new full-back with the sale back to Atletico Madrid of Filipe Luis earlier this week and the Blues have reportedly bid £18million for his services.
Sascha Empacher, Baba's agent, revealed Chelsea had submitted a bid and said his client wants the move to go through.
'Chelsea made an attractive offer,' he told Kicker.
'It is Baba's dream to play for a top club. He would like to take this opportunity.'
