transfer race for Julian Draxler
after Schalke reportedly rejected a
£15.6million offer from Juventus for the
midfielder.
The Gunners looked to have missed out
on a deal for the 21-year-old when talks
between Schalke and Juventus began last
week, but the German outfit rejected
Juve's initial bid, according to reports.
Arsene Wenger is believed to be a keen
admirer of Draxler and could successfully
sign the young German international for
£30m, which Schalke are apparently
holding out for.
Chelsea are also thought to be monitoring
the Bundesliga star and could battle it out
with their London rivals to bring Draxler
to the Premier League.
