Falcao to sign for Chelsea

CHELSEA are set to secure the signing of Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao, according to reports.

Portugese newspaper Record report that Falcao "will" be at Chelsea next season.

Falcao spend last season on loan at Manchester United before returning to parent club Monaco.

The 29-year-old scored just four goals in 26 appearances during is season-long loan at Old Trafford.

While the Colombia international failed to live up to expectations under Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to return Falcao to his peak.

However, it is unlikely that Chelsea will secure a permanent move for the striker and he is expected to head to Stamford Bridge in a loan deal from Monaco.
