Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a £10.5million transfer double swoop for Stoke’s Asmir Begovic and Swansea’s Jazz Richards.

The Villans are desperate to improve on last season’s poor performances and 17th placed finish.

And Tim Sherwood has lined up the two Premier League stars who both have a year left on their contracts.

Stoke stopper Begovic is set to leave this summer and is valued at around £10m by Stoke.

While Swansea right-back Richards is believed to be worth just £500,000, according to the Birmingham Mail.
